Restorative Dentistry

Tooth-Colored Fillings

If a tooth gets a cavity, we are able to restore the tooth with a composite resin tooth-colored filling. These fillings are chemically bonded to the tooth using the latest technology in adhesive dentistry. They are safe, strong, and long-lasting.

Crowns

When a tooth has extensive decay or fracture, a dental crown or “cap” may be necessary to fully protect the tooth fully. The doctor will prepare the natural tooth as necessary so that a lab-fabricated dental crown can be placed on top of your natural, existing tooth. Today’s crowns are made from a very strong zirconia or porcelain material.

Dental Implants

If a tooth is missing or must be extracted, the best option to replace that tooth in dentistry today would be a dental implant. A dental implant is essentially a titanium “root” that is topped off with a crown that gives patients the ability to regain full function and esthetics of natural teeth. In coordination with an oral surgeon or periodontist, we are able to replace lost teeth with a fully functional dental implant.

Bridges

A dental bridge is a good option for patients with missing teeth where the surrounding teeth are already compromised by decay, fracture, or large existing fillings. By spanning lost teeth spaces with solid teeth on either side, a fixed bridge solves the issue of missing teeth.

Root Canals

A root canal is a procedure performed by our doctors that removes an infection from a tooth. Root canal procedures are very good options to save teeth when decay or infection extends to the nerve of the tooth. The infection is cleaned out and the nerve of the tooth is replaced with a special filling. Afterwards, the doctor will recommend a crown or filling to protect the tooth long-term.

Full and Partial Dentures

As one ages, the ability to chew is critical not only for cosmetics, but also for health and digestion. We make properly fitting, comfortable dentures using the latest techniques that allow us to give our patients the best fit possible.
